Cleaning leather is quite difficult, washing with water can lead to discoloration, dehydration and cracking. This is of course not desirable and a waste of your leather products. Suede is also not easy to clean. Suede is a special type of leather, usually made from the skin of sheep, calves and goats. Chromium salt is then tanned on the skin, resulting in a beautiful fabric. This makes suede sensitive, and the temperature and type of cleaning agent should be taken into account when cleaning.
